I was extremely pleased with Anne Feste as my realtor. I am a rather tough customer to please and she did everything right and then some. I had been looking for a house for about two years in the Oakland area and had gone through a few realtors and was about ready to give up when I was recommended to Anne by a friend. With the other realtors, I was spinning my wheels, desperately bidding way over the asking price and shooting just hoping to hit something. Anne changed my game plan to shoot for quality yet affordable houses. She also said her connections gave us a boost up. We bid on three houses and I got the third one! But the good fortune didn't stop there. The place needed a new roof, furnaces, some plumbing and electrical, and new carpet and hardwood floor refinishing, among other things. With her clever strategizing, she was able to get the buyer to pay $15K toward licensed contractors. I used mostly her people, and they were very reasonably priced and did excellent work, real down-to-earth people, too. So if you want a good realtor, call Anne Feste at the Grubb Company.

My husband and I met Anne at a Sunday Open House one Super Bowl Sunday a few years ago. That fortuitous meeting led to what became a terrific realtor-client relationship and friendship. Anne persevered with us over the course of several months as we searched for just the right house in the Oakland hills. One morning she called and said, "I think I just found it", and she was right. She had listened well and known just what we were looking for. She guided us through the negotiation process with great skill, wisdom, and patience; she looked out for our best interests all the way through closing and beyond. We were quite discouraged with the East Bay housing market when we were first introduced to Anne; evidently, we weren't able to afford a house with features that we needed. She told us, however, that she viewed our predicament as a challenge, and she loved solving challenging puzzles.

She soon introduced us to condominiums in Alameda which we hadn't even considered up to then. We ended up buying the most wonderful waterside condominium imaginable - or, to us before meeting Anne, completely unimaginable. I think of Anne as the game-changer. She solved a most challenging problem for us that quite simply will bring us joy for the rest of our lives.

BTW, I do not like hyperboles, but she has indeed had such an impact on our lives.
