I was recently relocated to the Bay Area for a new job. The company put me in touch with Anne as a local realtor. I am so glad they did. She was, quite simply, amazing. I had very specific ideas of what I liked and was looking for. She combed the listings and found several to look at. They all had the feeling of what I wanted and yet there was variety among them. I was able to quickly settle on one that I really wanted and she went to work. The short story is that I got what I wanted and escrow closed last week. The long story is that the sellers were a piece of work (difficult doesn't even begin to cover it) and the listing agent was clueless, unresponsive, and reluctant to deal with her own clients (the sellers). Anne was consistently involved and working to move things along and get the issues resolved. Often asking what I wanted and then working to make it happen and coming back to me with a resolution. Anne Feste did a wonderful job for us. We were relocating from PA and she responded super fast to emails long before we had even arrived in CA. She was upfront in telling us she had a long-standing family holiday planned as we would be arriving in CA and had arranged for a knowledgeable and responsive colleague to work with us during the time she would be away.

Upon her return, we identified a property in Albany that we were interested in making an offer on. She quickly secured an additional visit to the house and spent a long time with us there. Anne advised us on how to make a competitive offer that had a good chance of success. This was especially important to us as it was July (and we had kids who needed to be enrolled in school for the fall) and the inventory was very low. We made our offer and it was accepted!

It was a relief that we didn't have to write offer after offer--the whole process is time-consuming and stressful. Anne is competent, conscientious, and understands what it takes to get the deal done. So happy we engaged her services!

The Bay Area real estate process can be incredibly challenging, especially for first-time buyers. In a market where the tech-rich and foreign investors, not to mention the numerous other buyers, can easily push the average buyer to the side for desirable properties, Anne is the advocate you want. She makes it a point to understand what exactly you are looking for and has a keen eye for properties that meet your expectations. She is an experienced, sharp negotiator and if you have an offer on a home, your chances of acceptance could not be higher with another agent. Also, with Anne, you get not only the home you really want but access to the best contractors, insurance agents, designers, etc. For all the design projects and financial aspects regarding my home, no one else I talked to outperformed the people she recommended.

Having bought and sold my property with Anne Feste, I feel I'm in a good position to recommend Ann. My interests were in location (high walk score) but without paying more than the property is worth (resale value within 5 years). She steered me away from properties that weren't a good fit and gave excellent advice on where to buy, why, and how this would fit our plan. She negotiated superbly, set our expectations right, and tirelessly worked with us to meet our home purchasing and selling needs (including calming our nerves).
